Filming Options
When it comes to the process of actual filming to gather footage for a particular project, we have a wide range of options to suit your budget and requirements from a very simple one-man crew with professional DV camera to a multi-camera DV shoot with 24-track multitrack audio recording or higher end video formats like digibeta or 35mm. Some examples of film crews might be as follows;
One-man crew - equipment consists of just professional DV camera and no soundman. This is suitable for gathering footage where sound is not important, such as for capturing |

video for visuals only. e.g. where a narration audio track is to be added in post-pro., or research/location recce footage.
Standard 3-man crew - cameraman, soundman and runner/clapper-loader. 16-bit stereo digital audio DAT machine using high-quality boom mics such as ME66/K6 with windshield. Optional film-lights with generator.
Multi-camera crew - multiple cameramen, live video editor and 24-track 24-bit digital hard-disc multitrack recording, suitable for live venues like concerts.
